Final Year Project

Project Title

These Tales of Mine

Description

The project serves as an intersection of my skills in Computer Science and Design. These Tales of Mine is a decision-based RPG indie game, heavily inspired by Pakistani folklore and legends. It allows players to embody different characters, each with their own artistic abilities, which they wield as weapons. The game employs Probabilistic Graphical Models (PGMs) at its backend to create dynamically changing gameplay for each player, based on the decisions they make and the changing probabilities based on those decisions. The purpose of this project is to not only highlight local Pakistani culture via its rich folklore and legends, but also to do so via an unconventional method, which is rarely used in the entertainment industry.
